  • Surround yourself with technical experts. Work alongside experienced engineers with diverse specialties who enjoy sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and solving tough problems together. There's always someone to learn from—and opportunities to share your own expertise.
  • Keep learning and growing. Deepen your expertise while exploring new applications, simulation techniques, and technologies that you might never encounter in a traditional engineering role.
  • Make a real impact. Work directly with customers to solve challenging engineering problems, improve their products, and contribute to their success.
  • Enjoy independence and collaboration. Take ownership of your work while being part of a flexible, supportive team that's always willing to help.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Consulting Services
    • Work with customers to understand analysis requirements and expectations.
    • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
    • Propose alternative design solutions based on engineering insights.
    • Prepare technical reports and documentation tailored to customer needs.
  • Deliver Technical Support
    • Provide support to ANSYS electromagnetic software users via phone, email, and in-person interaction.
    • Troubleshoot modeling challenges, simulation workflows, and technical issues.
  • Support Pre-Sales Activities
    • Collaborate with account managers to assess customer needs.
    • Answer technical questions during the sales process.
    • Deliver software demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide Technical Training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS tools such as HFSS, SIwave, or EMC Plus.
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S. or Canada.

Requirements

  • Strong background in high-frequency electromagnetics, circuits, and numerical methods.
  • Ability to support pre-sales efforts through technical expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing abilities.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Relevant Technical Experience Includes

  • High-Speed Signal Integrity: Channel modeling and analysis using S-parameters, TDR, eye diagrams, insertion/return loss, and crosstalk.
  • Interconnect Modeling: Electromagnetic simulation of PCB traces, vias, connectors, packages, and other high-speed interconnect structures using tools such as HFSS or SIwave.
  • High-Speed Interfaces: Signal integrity analysis for technologies such as DDR memory, PCIe, SerDes, or other high-speed digital communication interfaces.
  • Power Integrity: Power distribution network (PDN) modeling, AC impedance extraction of PCB power rails, decoupling analysis, and power delivery optimization.
  • Simulation & Troubleshooting: Using electromagnetic and circuit simulation to identify and resolve signal or power integrity issues, evaluate design tradeoffs, and improve system performance.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Additional experience in other technical specialties, including signal/power integrity, RF/microwave, or antenna applications.
  • Exposure to low-frequency electronics (motors, transformers, etc.).
  • System-level modeling (TwinBuilder or Simulink).
  • Interest in multiphysics simulation (thermal, structural, fluids, acoustics).
  • CAD modeling experience (3D geometry creation or simplification).
  • Familiarity with optimization and DOE methods.
  • Basic programming/scripting (Python, C#, .NET, C++, etc.).
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for automation and workflows.

Additional Details
