[Hiring] Senior Water Resources Engineer @SEH

Role Description

SEH is currently searching for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our talented Water Resources team!

This opportunity involves:

• Managing and delivering a wide variety of water resources projects including sediment transport, flood risk management, and dam safety.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with SEH clients while mentoring and growing internal staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• Demonstrated previous experience with open channel hydraulics modeling.
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorksICM, or PCSWMM.
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required.

Requirements

• Experience in dam and levee design, engineering, and construction.
• Experience in 2D Hydraulic models.
• CFD Modeling experience.
• Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers, and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects.
• Experience and interest in supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
