[Hiring] Senior Principal Electrical Engineer @PEAK

Role Description

Provide electrical engineering services, including technical support and supervision within the electrical engineering team. Ensure services and specifications are delivered on time and within budget.

• Deliver electrical engineering services and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory specifications.
• Initiate, manage, and supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
• Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.
• Ensure project scope clarity and compliance with change management processes.
• Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Act as the electrical engineering lead on specific projects when required.
• Outline project requirements, promote workshare, assign tasks, and supervise progress.
• Resolve discrepancies between project requirements and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and innovations in electrical engineering.
• Assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team if required.
• Communicate effectively with the team and project stakeholders.
• Identify issues, develop solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
• Serve as a technical consultant and make formal presentations as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive relevant discipline experience.
• Experience in a project leadership role.
• Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering requirements and basic requirements of other engineering fields.
• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory requirements.
• Competent use of electrical engineering-specific software and MS Office Suite.
• Substantial technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in similar industries, including multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS in a related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law.
