  • 5+ years of experience in power system studies, with strong hands-on expertise in PSCAD and electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations.
  • Proven experience developing, validating, and troubleshooting detailed PSCAD models for inverter-based resources, renewable generation, energy storage systems, and grid-connected power electronics.

Requirements

  • Experience performing EMT studies for grid compliance, including fault ride-through, control interactions, harmonic and subsynchronous interaction analysis.
  • Experience analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using PSS®E required.
  • Familiarity with utility and regional transmission organization requirements and standards (for example: ERCOT, SPP, WECC, PJM, Southern Company, or similar).
  • Experience supporting interconnection studies, system impact studies, or facility studies.
  • Ability to lead technical workstreams and review technical deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience presenting technical findings to clients, utilities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills with demonstrated ability to write effective technical reports.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally without restrictions.

  • Rewarding vacation entitlement with the opportunity to buy and sell your vacation depending on your lifestyle.
  • Contribute to our social responsibility initiatives focused on access to education, access to technology and sustaining communities and make a positive impact on the community.
  • Participate in our celebrations, social events and offsite business events.
