Role Description

We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to bring technical excellence and leadership to our innovative, collaborative team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the design, development, and optimization of complex mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring every solution meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.

As a senior member of the engineering group, you’ll:

• Mentor emerging engineers
• Guide multidisciplinary teams
• Drive high-impact projects from concept through execution

Your expertise will help shape strategic initiatives, influence design direction, and strengthen our mechanical engineering capabilities.

The successful candidate will contribute to technical studies including:

• Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEA)
• Prefeasibility Studies (PFS)
• Feasibility Studies (FS)

You may act as or support a Qualified Person (QP) responsible for technical disclosure related to mechanical design and project infrastructure design under NI 43-101.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with demonstrated success in managing complex projects
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license required (registered in the province of British Columbia preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Requirements

• Full cycle EPC experience
• Experience in the creation and checking of material specifications for piping systems
• Experience with design and specification of pressure equipment such as tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers
• Ensure all deliverables comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Able to travel to job sites as required
