[Hiring] Senior Kubernetes / HPC Infrastructure Engineer @Georgia IT

Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Kubernetes / HPC Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters, cloud infrastructure, and GPU workloads across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have proven production experience in Kubernetes infrastructure management, HPC provisioning, GPU scheduling, and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, including node pools, networking, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Provision and manage HPC infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines across AWS, GCP, CoreWeave, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Implement and optimize GPU scheduling for AI/ML training and inference workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build Python automation for infrastructure provisioning, operations, and reliability.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response processes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, compute, and performance issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML teams to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or HPC environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience managing clusters at scale.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Python automation.
• Production experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, EFS, and FSx for Lustre.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cluster operations, scalability, and reliability.
