[Hiring] REVIT Electrical Designer @Kiewit

Role Description

Our REVIT Electrical Designers at Kiewit are key contributors to the development of complex electrical power distribution and control systems for large‑scale industrial facilities. In this role, you will:

• Translate engineering intent into highly coordinated, constructible electrical designs using advanced 3D modeling in REVIT and Smartplant 3D.
• Work across medium‑voltage and low‑voltage systems, grounding and bonding networks, cable routing strategies, lighting and photometric layouts, and equipment integration for process‑driven environments.
• Support EPC projects and own your work from concept through commissioning.
• Understand how design decisions impact cost and schedule.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technical rigor and practical execution go hand in hand.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and minimum of 5+ years’ related electrical design with 5 years in REVIT working on Data Centers, Water treatment facilities, power facilities, hospitals, or other similar industrial facilities.
• For more Senior level designers, a minimum of 10 years using either REVIT for Industrial facilities.
• Works collaboratively across departments and involves others in solving problems.
• Supports project teams and departments with design support for drawings, specifications, IO Lists.
• Understanding of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Able to manage multiple responsibilities with set expectations and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Detail oriented and a strong team player.
• Experience working with multi-disciplined teams and subcontractors for equipment.
• Experience with design for construction preferred; Design/Build, EPC project experience preferred.
