[Hiring] Qualifier / Professional Engineer @Inspected

Role Description

The Qualifier is a licensed Professional Engineer who serves as Inspected's designated technical authority for building code compliance across a wide variety of company projects, including:

• Quality Assurance
• Delivery of Certificate of Compliance (COC) affidavits
• Superior customer service for contractors
• Flawless delivery of virtual inspections
• Issue mitigation
• Other operational improvement initiatives as required

This position reports directly to the CEO and manages multiple projects on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Eligibility to serve as a Qualifier under Florida's Private Provider program (Chapter 553, Florida Statutes)
• Strong working knowledge of the Florida Building Code (FBC) and applicable municipal processes
• Experience reviewing construction documents, engineering plans, and permit submittals for code compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused, consultative approach
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to interact professionally with contractors, government officials, and internal teams

Requirements

• Experience with virtual or remote inspection and plan review workflows (preferred)
• Prior experience as a Qualifier or Authorized Representative under a Private Provider program (preferred)
• Familiarity with Inspected's Permit Hub platform or similar inspection/permitting software (preferred)
• Structural Engineer qualifications (preferred)
