Role Description

We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a strong structural engineering background to support our growing Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the structural design and analysis of solid rocket motors and related propulsion components.

This role is responsible for leading the structural design, development, integration, and verification of critical SRM hardware. Key focus areas include:

• Structural modeling
• Analysis
• Documentation for components such as motor cases, nozzles, insulation systems, joints, load-bearing interfaces, and other primary structures

This position may be performed remotely or onsite at our Huntsville, AL., Niceville, FL., or Hampton, AR locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience
• Engineering degree required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
