Role Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Power Systems Engineer – ADMS / Distribution position for our client.

• Support ADMS and electric distribution network modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Perform power-flow analysis, convergence troubleshooting, and power-flow validation.
• Support SCADA integration and ADMS applications including FLISR, VVO/VVC, and CVR.
• Validate GIS/CIM network models, topology, connectivity, load, substation, underground, and DER data.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of power engineering experience with distribution networks and OT systems.
• Experience with AspenTech OSI, SCADA integration, network modeling, and power-flow analysis.
• Substation, underground, and DER modeling experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

• AspenTech OSI, CYME, GIS, CIM, power-flow analysis.
• FLISR, VVO/VVC, CVR, DER modeling.
• IEC 61970/61968, DNP3, ICCP.
• SQL, Python, scripting, and data validation.

Benefits

• The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $75.00/hour.
