[Hiring] Optical/DWDM Network Engineer @Spruce Infotech

Role Description

• Support NOC and repair activities for Professional Services customers
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware, transport, and software
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and coordinate fixes
• Communicate with customers through tickets, phone, email, and chat
• Prioritize multiple tasks based on urgency
• Document all actions in the ticketing system

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Optical DWDM Transport Equipment (Infinera DTNx, Alcatel/Nokia 1830, Ciena 6500, Waveserver)
• Experience supporting Dark Fiber, Waves, MPLS, DIA, IPVPN
• Raman Amps
• Alarm Monitoring Systems (RFM, SolarWinds)
• Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow
• Understanding of circuit designs & inventory systems (XLRs, DLRs, CLRs)
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities
