[Hiring] Gas Turbine Applications Engineer @Ethos Energy Group Limited

Role Description

EthosEnergy is seeking a Gas Turbine Application Engineer, (GTAE). This critical position provides dedicated technical support within our Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine product line. The GTAE will work on business development and interface closely with leaders and teammates from Sales, Commercial Management, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Engineering. Successful candidates must be creative and outside the box thinkers with excellent people skills. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a GT service provider company. Ability to travel is a requirement of this position. Note that this is a remote position, but the role requires availability to periodically visit our Houston South Sam workshop.

Job Responsibilities

• BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Collect all available technical knowledge on GT product to prepare technical documents for customer awareness of EthosEnergy solutions, including:
    • Scope of work
    • Technical presentation
    • Technical data sheet
  • Targeted technical account holding webinars to GT users
  • Spec reviews and technical prequalification coordinator
  • Understand main customer drivers to convert into focused value propositions
  • Maintenance and communication of Product Portfolio, suggest New Product Introductions
  • Conduct training of internal EthosEnergy personnel on GT products, capabilities, and services
• ORDER CAPTURE PHASE (part of ITO process)
  • GT solution technical proposal lead, including:
    • Introducing EthosEnergy solutions through dedicated rotor and hot gas parts program presentations
    • Review of customer tender scope of works
    • Prepare dedicated scope of works matching customer CTQs
    • Verify technical compatibility of GT components configuration
    • Provide interchangeability solutions
    • Internal technical contact for Sales and Commercial teams on rotor program sales opportunities
    • Provides an effective interface between Sales and Commercial with GT core Engineering
    • Manages Technical DoA within EthosEnergy organization on GT product
• CLOSE AND CONTRACT TURNOVER
  • Ensure main customer drivers are transferred to the PM and executing functions
  • Ensure all technical features agreed with customer are understood by operations to avoid gaps in implementation
• ORDER IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
  • Support Supply Chain Management and Operations to meet market demands, including:
    • Provide input to Global lead on high probability opportunities pipeline for advanced procurement of strategic stock
    • Provide technical checklist for GT used components procurement from the market
    • Interface with Sales, Commercial Management, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Engineering teams

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience within a GT service provider company
• GE heavy duty F tech and B/E tech hot gas parts and rotor knowledge preferably
• GT components design knowledge preferable
• Engineering Master's degree
• Available to travel
