[Hiring] Field Service Engineer @Hach

The Field Service Engineer reports to the Field Service Manager Adriatic and will be part of a team of Service Engineers distributed in Croatia and Slovenia. Responsibilities include:

• Building long-term relationships with customers.
• Supporting clients with technical problems related to equipment.
• Providing remote support.
• Servicing (installation, calibration, preventive maintenance) our installed-based and new equipment within Croatia, southeast Slovenia, and in special cases, other Adriatic regions.

The position is remote/field-based. A typical day will look like:

• Carrying out commissioning, maintenance, and repair of measuring equipment daily on customer sites.
• Promoting the sale of service in the designated region in cooperation with colleagues from sales and administration departments.
• Providing technical support for the sales team.
• Training and technical consulting.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary or higher education with a technical focus, such as automation, electronics, or a related field.
• Fluent Croatian language and advanced English.

Requirements

• Valid driving license cat. B and willingness to drive across Croatia, southeast Slovenia, and in special cases, other Adriatic regions, to visit customers, with some occasional overnight stays.
