Role Description

Join our Service team as a Field Service Engineer and play a key role in ensuring on-site and remote technical service for Sartorius equipment to support reliable system operation, customer satisfaction, and compliance with defined service standards. With your technical expertise and hands-on commitment in the field, you will help maintain stable service processes and enable our teams to focus on what matters most: better health for more people.

This position is home-based close to our local Headquarters in Riyadh. You will become part of a dedicated team that is excited to shape the future together with you.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• Perform installations, calibrations, and preventive maintenance activities on Sartorius equipment at customer sites by applying approved service procedures and adhering to internal and customer guidelines to ensure proper system functionality and long-term operational reliability.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers in Saudi Arabia and other MEA countries by analyzing reported issues, identifying causes of failures, and applying corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted customer operations.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher support levels by documenting findings and following defined escalation processes to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Maintain accurate and complete service documentation, including time reporting, expenses, and work performed by using approved service and reporting systems to ensure transparency, traceability, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to customer-specific and internal health and safety requirements during all service activities by following safety instructions and site regulations to protect people, equipment, and facilities.
• Apply standard service procedures and guidelines consistently by following defined processes and quality standards to ensure service quality and process compliance.

Qualifications

• Vocational Training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• First experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support roles involving electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a customer-facing environment.
• Basic understanding of automation and robotics systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset to explain technical topics clearly and professionally.
• Ability to follow structured service processes and documentation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic would be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and a high willingness to travel (minimum 70%).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 22 kilograms and frequently lift up to 9 kilograms.
