Role Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be home-based, covering the Leicester, Derby and Nottingham areas. Your role will involve:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of materials handling equipment
• Diagnosing faults on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and engine systems
• Delivering an excellent customer experience across a varied client base
• Managing your own workload and keeping accurate service records
• Installing or commissioning new machinery where needed
• Supporting customers to keep their operations safe, reliable, and productive

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be trusted to manage your own schedule, deliver excellent customer service, and tackle technical challenges head-on.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background with some electrical knowledge
• Experience working on mobile machinery or similar equipment
• Valid UK driving licence
• Practical knowledge of:
  • Electrical drive & control systems
  • Diesel/LPG engines
  • Hydraulics
  • Computer-based diagnostics

Requirements

• Experience in industries such as automotive, HGV, LGV, PSV, plant, agricultural, construction equipment, REME, or roadside recovery
• Previous field service experience is an advantage, but full product training will be provided
