[Hiring] Engineering Manager @Social Discovery Group

Role Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager. Your main tasks will be:

• Lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 engineers (backend, frontend, QA, AQA)
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, from requirements to release
• Run the team's development process: sprint planning, estimation, decomposition, DoR/DoD
• Take part in feature design and technical decision-making
• Ensure the reliability of the team's services: monitoring, alerting, incident reviews, postmortems
• Partner with the Product Manager on backlog prioritization

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial development experience (.NET / Java / Python)
• 1+ year of experience leading a cross-functional team
• Understanding of microservice architecture: REST / gRPC, RabbitMQ / Kafka
• Observability: logging, metrics, tracing (ELK, Grafana, DataDog or similar)
• Agile practices (Scrum / Kanban)

Requirements

• Understanding of frontend architecture (React) and mobile development (React Native)
• Knowledge of QA processes and test automation
