Role Description

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Electrical and Circuit Design professionals with expertise in analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, RF and microwave systems, semiconductor devices, and advanced circuit analysis to contribute to an AI training and electrical-engineering evaluation project. Selected professionals will solve complex circuit-design problems, review AI-generated technical responses, and evaluate realistic engineering scenarios across analog, digital, power, RF, and semiconductor domains. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Circuit & Systems Analysis
  • Solve advanced DC, AC, transient, and frequency-domain circuit problems
  • Apply Kirchhoff's laws, node-voltage analysis, phasors, Thevenin equivalents, Hybrid-π models, FSMs, and timing analysis
  • Evaluate analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs for gain, bandwidth, stability, noise, timing, and signal integrity
  • Diagnose failures and assess assumptions, component interactions, and design trade-offs
• Power, RF & Semiconductor Engineering
  • Analyse power-electronic systems, switching behaviour, efficiency, losses, thermal effects, and stability
  • Evaluate RF and microwave designs for impedance, matching, frequency response, and high-frequency performance
  • Apply semiconductor-device principles to transistor behaviour, CMOS design, reliability, and scaling
  • Assess control, implementation, validation, and reliability considerations across hardware systems
• AI Evaluation & Technical Review
  • Review AI-generated engineering responses for technical correctness and completeness
  • Identify calculation errors, weak assumptions, implementation issues, or unrealistic recommendations
  • Compare alternative engineering approaches and distinguish substantive errors from acceptable solutions
  • Provide clear, structured technical feedback supporting model improvement

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, or RF circuit-design experience
• Experience contributing to hardware that has reached production or tape-out
• Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal design, digital logic, semiconductor devices, power electronics, and RF/microwave systems
• Familiarity with control systems, EMC, semiconductor reliability, and modern CMOS scaling
• IC/ASIC design, PCB design, high-speed digital, or RF validation experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, or comparable EDA tools is valuable
• Strong technical problem-solving, review, and communication skills
• Evidence of rigorous technical work such as standards contributions, verified tape-outs, patents, awards, or research recognition is highly valued
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Requirements

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Displayed compensation range: $60–$130/hour
• Actual compensation structure is output-based, with payment made per task that meets project specifications
• Task completion time may vary depending on experience and workflow
