Role Description

As a Network Engineer within the Global CX Center at Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of a highly technical, globally connected team delivering innovative network solutions to some of the world's largest and most high-profile customers. Working remotely from Colombia, you will collaborate across international teams, applying cutting-edge Cisco technologies to solve complex network challenges, automate processes, and drive outstanding customer experiences. • Designing and implementing Cisco leading-edge technologies across large-scale, complex network environments, acting as a reliable and high-quality delivery partner to global Customer Experience teams.
• Analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing network performance, while identifying opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and streamline manual processes using modern tools and techniques.
• Developing and influencing software tools and scripts in support of network design, infrastructure management, and technology platforms to drive scalable and repeatable service delivery.
• Acting as a strategic technical partner to customers, proactively solving and preventing the recurrence of network incidents, and independently troubleshooting complex problems across mixed and unique network environments.
• Collaborating with global engineering teams to provide technical guidance, support field engineers in problem resolution, and contribute to the development of new service capabilities and delivery models.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in network engineering or a related technical discipline, with exposure to Cisco technologies and a strong desire to grow within a global customer-facing environment.
• Foundational knowledge of network design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, with an understanding of how to apply technology to solve real-world business challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot network issues in complex environments, with an innovative mindset and willingness to experiment with new approaches and solutions.
• Experience or strong interest in network automation, including scripting or tooling to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency and reliability of network operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse, global teams, support knowledge sharing, and contribute to both internal and external technical training activities.
