[Hiring] Virtual HIMS Educator @Encompass Health

Role Description

The HIMS Educator provides education in the HIMS field to:

• Coders
• HIMS personnel
• Physicians
• Other departments in relation to ICD-10 coding for the UB and the PAI

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies through education opportunities identified and provided.
• Supporting cultural diversity by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.

All employees must reside within a 150-mile radius of an Encompass Health Inpatient hospital.
