Role Description

This is a fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity for educators. The role involves:

• Teaching the curriculum of the school on the district virtual platform.
• Attending district professional development and faculty meetings.
• Recording student progress.
• Partnering with an in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.
• Working Monday to Friday, with potential hours from 7:20 am to 3:00 pm EST.
• Joining a pool of educators with access to an educator portal to select jobs aligned to certification.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar, with immediate start dates based on available placement opportunities upon completion of the application process.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS teacher certification in Middle School or High School Math, Science, or Social Studies.
• Must have, or be open to obtaining, the Bilingual Education Extension Certification (English/Spanish).
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus.

• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
