[Hiring] Virtual ASL Educator @Fullmind

Role Description

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

• Join our educator pool and get access to our portal, where you can select job openings that match your certification as they become available from our school and district partners.
• As a Fullmind educator, you will:
• Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
• Track student grades and performance
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students

Qualifications

• Valid New York World Language (ASL) or American Sign Language teaching certification required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process
