Role Description

This position is for a New Jersey Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing or ASL certification required.

• Daily Rate: $36-40/hr; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
• Fully Remote, 1099 Contract Opportunity.
• Elementary experience preferred.
• Start Date: 10/5/2026 and run through the end of the school year (5/21/2027).
• Schedule:
  • Tuesday: 1:35 PM to 2:17 PM, 2:18 PM to 3 PM
  • Wednesday: 1:35 PM to 2:17 PM, 2:18 PM to 3 PM
• Teach the curriculum of the school on district virtual platform.
• Attend district PD + faculty meetings.
• Record student progress.
• Partner with in-class facilitator who is physically in class with students.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing or ASL certification required.
• Elementary experience preferred.

Requirements

• Must be able to deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion.
• Immediate start dates based on available placement opportunities upon completion of the application process.
