Role Description
Electrical safety training only works when it's practical, accurate, and delivered by people who know the trade. As our Training Manager, you'll lead the team that brings NFPA 70E training to our customers and help grow that training business.

Lead the training team.

Set clear expectations, hold regular one-on-ones and team meetings, conduct performance reviews, resolve issues quickly, and build a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Develop your trainers.

Identify skill gaps, assess trainer and trainee performance, and provide coaching that raises the quality of every session.

Deliver great training.

Facilitate client training sessions and coordinate the schedule and resources so programs are delivered efficiently and on time.

Own the curriculum.

Develop and maintain comprehensive curricula aligned with NFPA 70E, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and keep training records compliant.

Grow the business.

Partner with Sales to find new opportunities, customize proposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and research emerging training needs.

Build relationships.

Develop strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and partners, and keep CRM, activity, and expense reporting accurate and on time.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

10 years as a journey-level electrician, or completion of a state or federally registered apprenticeship plus 7 years of journey-level experience.

5+ years of experience as an electrical apprenticeship instructor.

Deep understanding of NFPA 70E standards and training methods, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to travel and drive for extended periods, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. in indoor and outdoor settings.

Preferred: Associate's degree or technical trade school, and certification from an accredited craft instructor training program.

Preferred: EPRI Level II Instrumentation Technician and EPRI Level II Test Administrator certifications.
