Role Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Thai Language Instructor to teach students across different age groups through live virtual classes. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Thai language, effective teaching skills, and the ability to engage learners in an online environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Delivery
  • Conduct live online Thai language classes via Zoom
  • Teach speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
  • Design lessons based on student level (Beginner to Advanced)
  • Use structured lesson plans and interactive teaching methods
• Student Engagement
  • Create engaging and interactive sessions
  • Encourage student participation and confidence in speaking
  • Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
• Assessment & Feedback
  • Assess learner progress and identify improvement areas
  • Assign practice exercises and homework
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Documentation
  • Submit session summaries and reports on time
  • Maintain records of student performance

Working Schedule

• Flexible remote role with preferred availability between 4 AM and 8 AM. Sunday availability is highly preferred.
• Availability for weekday and/or weekend classes
• Ability to handle multiple sessions per day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Thai Language / Linguistics / Languages, or
• Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed), or
• Any relevant degree with strong Thai language proficiency
• Higher qualifications (e.g., advanced Thai certification) are an advantage

Requirements

• Language Proficiency
  • Strong proficiency in Thai (spoken and written)
  • Clear pronunciation and ability to teach phonetics
  • Good command of English for communication
• Experience
  • Prior teaching experience (online) preferred
  • Freshers with strong language skills and teaching ability can apply
• Teaching & Digital Skills
  • Ability to simplify concepts for beginners
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as slides, PDFs, and videos
  • Ability to conduct structured and activity-based sessions
• Technical Requirements
  • Laptop/Desktop with webcam and microphone
  • Stable high-speed internet connection
  • Quiet and distraction-free teaching environment
  • Familiarity with Zoom
  • Ability to use virtual whiteboards, screen sharing, and annotations
