[Hiring] Teacher Online Learning Manager @Edify Org

Role Description

Edify promotes holistic and high-quality Christ-centered education in partnership with low-fee independent Christ-centered schools. The role of the Teacher Online Learning Manager will be initially focused on:

• Overseeing the rollout of Edify Academy.
• Supporting the onboarding of teachers and leaders in operational and pilot countries.
• Leading the development of significant program improvements in the areas of:
• Curriculum
• Assessment
• Online delivery
• In-person mentoring/facilitation
• Monitoring and evaluation in the LATAM region.
• Supporting other teacher training programs offered by Edify in their region once Edify Academy is well established.

The role of the Teacher Online Learning Manager is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Curriculum development experience, including knowledge of how to integrate a biblical worldview into curriculum and learning experiences.
• Experience with online course delivery (knowledge of TalentLMS platform is an added advantage).
• Understanding of how to use Artificial Intelligence to enhance learning.
• Experience in a classroom environment and understanding of teachers’ needs and challenges.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Cross-cultural leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

• Curriculum revisions as needed, including:
• Integration of a biblical worldview into course content.
• Incorporation of user feedback to enhance lesson quality.
• Update of assessments to ensure higher-level learning is occurring.
• Improvement of the course flow and simplifying content where possible.
• Use of proprietary LMS to add updates to the course as needed.
• Ensuring that teachers are engaged based on reports and data from in-country Program Coordinators.
• Troubleshooting with program coordinators regarding completion rates and quality of engagement.
• Registration and onboarding setup (annually and when a new country launches).
• Set up communication channels (annually and when a new country launches).
• Train new Program Coordinators using documentation/protocols provided.
• Manage current Program Coordinators using documentation/protocols provided.
• Synthesize key learning and accomplishments on a quarterly basis.

Reports to

VP of Christ-Centered Education, with matrix management reporting to the Vice President of Central American Programs.

Supervises

All Program Coordinators in countries implementing online teacher training programs run by Edify in the region.
