Role Description

Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity focused on evaluations rather than ongoing therapy services? We are partnering with a South Dakota school district seeking a licensed SLP to support special education evaluation and eligibility processes for approximately 25 students. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy assessment, report writing, and collaboration with IEP teams.

• Review existing student records and educational data
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments as needed
• Prepare evaluation reports and recommendations
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with district staff regarding evaluation findings and service recommendations
• Transition students requiring ongoing speech therapy to district-employed SLPs for direct services

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills

Requirements

• An active South Dakota SLP license is required for this position.
• If you do not currently hold a South Dakota license but are willing to obtain one, we will reimburse approved cross-licensing fees.
