Role Description
Amplify is seeking a Specialist, PD Design, Assessment, Supplementals, and Intervention to join our Professional Development team for a one-year fixed-term assignment. This role requires a background in teaching, coaching, school leadership, and/or professional development design and facilitation, with expertise in assessment and intervention practices.
Essential Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

Support the development and execution of project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.

Assist in maintaining project documentation and records to ensure all project information is accurately captured and accessible.

Identify project risks, challenges, and barriers and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.

Report on project outcomes and their impact to team leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
-
Ensure quality control and consistency across all deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality in all work produced.

Maintain open communication with team leaders regarding project status and contribute to team meetings with updates on individual progress.

Product Expertise

Develop and maintain deep expertise in Amplify Literacy assessment, supplemental, and intervention products.

Align PD design with product updates and prioritized areas and ensure they meet user needs and industry standards.

Understand evolving training needs related to the product, and provide support and guidance to ensure effective product use and implementation.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Partner with different teams to help develop and deliver training programs.

Gather input from various teams to refine and enhance training resources.
-
Assist in managing collective projects by contributing expertise and solving problems.

Create High-Quality Training Experiences
-
Develop high-quality professional learning experiences across multiple formats, including instructor-led sessions, virtual workshops, eLearning modules, webpages, toolkits, videos, and other digital resources.

Employ a range of formats to cater to different learning styles and needs.
-
Customize training materials to align with specific business needs and customer requirements.

Create interactive elements within training resources to enhance engagement and practical application.

Continuous Evolution & Integration of Feedback

Systematically gather feedback from training participants, stakeholders, and other relevant sources.

Analyze feedback to identify areas for enhancement and make data-driven adjustments to training content.

Establish and manage structured feedback loops to facilitate ongoing dialogue between participants, stakeholders, and the training team.

Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in training and development.

Qualifications
-
Bachelorโs degree and at least 3+ years of PreK-12 classroom teaching experience.
-
At least 2+ years of experience designing and facilitating professional development sessions for PreK-12 educators both in-person and online, at scale.

Proven knowledge of adult learning principles and experience applying them when delivering learning experiences to adults.
-
Experience teaching with, implementing, or facilitating professional development with the mCLASS DIBELS 8th Edition or Lectura programs.

Strong knowledge of best practices for implementing high-quality literacy instruction and assessment practices rooted in the Science of Reading.

Demonstrated proficiency with instructional and visual design.
-
Experience using Google Slides, video editing software, Easy Generator or other online course authoring tool, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively.

Excellent skill and comfort with technology-based productivity tools, including Google Applications and video conferencing programs (Google Meet, Zoom).
Preferred Qualifications

Experience facilitating Amplify professional development sessions.

Demonstrated expertise with supporting diverse student populations (English Language Learners, Students with Disabilities, Gifted/Talented, etc.).
