Role Description

Oxford Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Special Education Paraprofessional for a fully remote assignment. Virtual services will be delivered via a Zoom based virtual classroom. This is an up to 35 hour per week position with a highly competitive hourly rate.

• Instructional Support:
  • Work 1:1 with student as determined by Special Education teacher and as required by student IEP
  • Topics/Activities to be determined by Special Education teacher
  • May provide push in support as directed by SEED Administrator
• Participation in Curriculum:
  • Run daily reports for students in Approaching Alarm/Alarm
  • Contact families who are in Alarm for Contacts – log contact
  • Contact families who are in Alarm for Attendance – remind CT how to log
  • Follow up with families for STs who have missed 3 Live Lessons in a row
• Participation in Supplemental Programs:
  • Run weekly reports for student participation/progress in iReady or other SISP
  • Contact families of Adapted/Alt Ed families who aren’t participating in required 3x weekly iReady
  • Review iReady progress for students who have failed a topic
  • Arrange reteaching session for failed topic(s)
• Progress Monitoring:
  • Administer formative assessments to students to gauge progress on IEP goals
  • Report progress and data to Special Education teacher
  • Support students in completing Benchmark assessments 3x per year

Qualifications

• Previous Paraprofessional experience required
• Bachelors Degree
• Undergo Live Scan/DOJ Fingerprint Scanning with Oxford Consulting
• Experience in virtual setting (preferred)

Requirements

• Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
