Role Description

Study.com is expanding its short-form and long-form video presence across YouTube and TikTok . We are looking for confident, engaging on-camera presenters who can work across both formats and make complex topics feel simple and approachable.

This is a remote, contract role. All work is paid per video. You will record videos using scripts and practice problems we provide, across two formats:

• YouTube long-form (typically under 10 minutes): test strategies, exam overviews, content explanations, and step-by-step practice problem walkthroughs.
• TikTok short-form (~1 minute): fast-paced tips, hooks, quick problem demos, and career or degree-completion advice.

Examples of video topics include:

• 5 Easy Strategies to Stay Motivated for the Praxis Exam
• Practice Problems for ASVAB Mathematics Knowledge
• TOEFL® Speaking Task 1: How to Answer in 45 Seconds
• How to Earn Your Bachelor's Degree in 2 Years with Degree Hacked

Your goal: make test prep and degree-completion content feel confident, approachable, and effective for adult learners.

No editing is required. We're looking for creators who are confident presenting clearly on camera.

What You'll Do

• Record engaging, instructional videos for YouTube (long-form) and TikTok (short-form).
• Deliver content in a clear, concise, and encouraging style.
• Maintain a consistent, professional on-screen presence.
• Demonstrate educational concepts using a dry-erase board, tablet/stylus, or pen-and-paper with clear and readable handwriting.
• Follow Study.com's brand and presenter guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback and revise delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, or similar platforms — including both short-form (vertical 9:16) and long-form (16:9) work.
• Confident, natural presenter who can explain complex ideas simply and connect with the viewer.
• Reliable camera (smartphone or dedicated camera with HD 1080p minimum).
• External microphone for clear audio.
• Good lighting for recording.
• Tablet/stylus or dry-erase board (and printer if needed) for demonstrations and practice problem walkthroughs.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced expertise in test-prep subject areas (preferred).
• Experience working from scripts or writing instructional scripts (preferred).
• Background creating educational or tutorial content (preferred).
• Experience presenting to adult or nontraditional learners (preferred).
• Familiarity with short-form content pacing, hooks, and trends (preferred).
• Military experience (current or former service) is a plus for ASVAB content, not required.
• Expertise in at least one subject area relevant to our channels, such as:
• Core academic subjects (Math, ELA, Reading, Science).
• Military test-prep topics (Electronics, Mechanical Comprehension, Auto & Shop).
• K–12 teaching content for certification exams (Praxis, TExES, FTCE, CSET).
• English-language instruction (TOEFL®).
