Role Description
The Sr. Manager, Clinical Training and Development is responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating education and training programs that support Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and corporate teammates. The Sr. Manager partners with Clinical leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. operations, ASC center administrators, etc) to identify learning needs, develop training solutions, coordinate implementation, and evaluate program effectiveness. The position requires experience in education and training, prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting, strong project management and facilitation skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams.
Essential Responsibilities

Leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of education programs and learning resources that support clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.

Partners with Clinical leadership and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop education solutions that support business and clinical objectives.

Builds collaborative relationships with center leadership, clinical teams, operation teams, and corporate stakeholders to support education and professional development initiatives.

Integrates evidence-based practices, industry standards, and organizational priorities into education programs and resources.

Supports quality improvement efforts through education, training, and dissemination of best practices and industry standards.

Provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of education initiatives, partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to achieve program objectives.

Supports the development and facilitation of education programs and learning experiences that reinforce knowledge, promote critical thinking, and support continuous improvement.

Coordinates onboarding and orientation programs that support teammate engagement, retention, and successful role transition while incorporating organizational core values.

Assesses stakeholder needs and utilizes participant feedback, program evaluations, and performance metrics to continuously improve education programs, resources, and delivery methods.

Supports the development, maintenance, enhancement of education plans, resources, toolkits, and online learning content to achieve departmental and organization priorities.

Maintains effective communication with Clinical Quality leadership and stakeholders regarding program progress, opportunities, challenges, and outcomes.

Collaborates with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to support education content, annual training requirements, competency programs, and compliance tracking.

Coordinates education-related projects and initiatives, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and objectives are achieved.

Requirements

Bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university required.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in education, training, or professional development, including prior experience working in a clinical setting.

Minimum of three (3) years of clinical education experience, including curriculum development, facilitation, and evaluation. Prior experience leading programs, projects, or teams preferred.
