[Hiring] Senior Acquisition and Training Analyst @Precise Systems, Inc.

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Acquisition and Training Analyst/Product Consultant. The incumbent will be responsible for all external DoD activities for NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) tool set implementation and training. The position will require some travel for both classroom and one-on-one training events. They will be responsible for full integration of the AMS tool set which will include:

• Education of senior leadership on the use and management of visualizations/reports.
• Communicating lessons learned from the NAVAIR implementation.
• Interfacing with other services/agencies senior leadership on AMS implementation.
• Serving as the interface between NAVAIR leadership and other service/agency customers.

Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and conducting technical end-user training programs on behalf of a government customer. The candidate will:

• Determine training objectives.
• Develop high-quality training materials.
• Provide varied format end-user training sessions.

The audience will include people with a wide range of computer skills and educational levels, varying in size from small private settings to symposium-sized audiences. The Technical Trainer/Product Consultant will interface regularly with technical SMEs (e.g., developers, web designers, system administrators, and application experts). The candidate needs to possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently.

This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.

Qualifications

• Retired O6, Program Manager experience.
• DAWIA Level III in Program Management or Contracts.
• Minimum of 10 years of acquisition experience.
• Strong DoD acquisition background with extensive hands-on experience in contract development and management of the DoD procurement process.
• Experience in leading teams in the development of contracting documentation to support the procurement process.
• Experience in teaching in a classroom environment and comfortable working with other DoD services senior leadership.
• Self-starter able to manage large projects without supervision.
• Training module development and delivery.
• Training materials and courseware development.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products to include the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience supporting a Government/systems command organization.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.

Education

• BS or BA degree.
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
  • An AS or AA degree and thirteen (13) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
  • Fifteen (15) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience

• At least ten (10) years of experience with project management support, of which four (4) years is acquisition management support.
• At least two (2) years of experience in AMS software development support on applications such as PMT, CSPT, or CDRL.
• At least two (2) years of experience with software requirements development, with at least one (1) year of experience in agile software development leveraging SharePoint 2013 and Dot.Net.
• One (1) year experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS). (Note: All experience may be concurrent).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $129,285 - $148,678.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
