[Hiring] Science Content Creator @Khan Academy

Role Description

We are looking for a Science content creator to lead our efforts of creating syllabus-aligned video and exercises primarily for grades 6th-12th. This will be a full-time contract position where you will be given an initial onboarding on our content principles and then you will be on a monthly basis. This is a 12-months contract role.

• Create videos and exercises in English from Grade 6-12 Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
• Review videos and exercises in English from Grade 6-12 Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
• Continuously iterate and improve content based on feedback received.

Qualifications

• Combined 4+ years of experience in teaching and creating videos/or teaching Physics/Chemistry/Biology.

Requirements

• Submit one video on any one of the following topics:
• Einstein's photoelectric effect
• Trends in ionisation enthalpies of d-block elements
• How does adaptive immunity work?
• The videos should target students from grades 11-12.
• Refer to the NCERT books for 11-12.
• The videos should not last more than 10 minutes.
• Assume all the necessary prerequisites.
• The tone should be conversational, as if talking 1:1 to a student or a friend.
• The videos should strive towards providing a deep understanding of the topic.
• Huge plus if you are able to build an intuition for the topic.
