Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented part-time research assistant to support scholarly, educational, and professional activities. The fellow will work closely with faculty to assist with:

• Preparation for speaking engagements
• Development of slide decks and presentation materials
• Background research to support manuscript preparation

This position is well suited for an individual with strong writing, research, organizational, and communication skills who is interested in academic medicine, clinical neuropsychology, psychology, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required. Candidates should be presently enrolled in a doctoral degree program focused on psychology, neuropsychology, clinical psychology, developmental psychology, education, neuroscience, or a closely related field.
• Strong academic writing skills and experience reading, summarizing, and synthesizing scientific literature.
• Experience preparing professional presentations, educational materials, slide decks, or manuscripts.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently while incorporating feedback from supervising faculty.
• Familiarity with APA style, reference management tools, and academic publication processes preferred.
• Interest or background in pediatric neuropsychology, clinical neuropsychology, learning and developmental disorders, or related clinical populations preferred.

Requirements

• This is a 0.5 FTE part-time position.
• Specific schedule and distribution of hours will be determined in collaboration with the supervising faculty member.
• May include a combination of independent work, scheduled check-ins, and project-based deadlines.
