Role Description

Under the supervision, support, and guidance of the PCE manager and with instructional design staff support, the Professional and Continuing Education Subject Matter Expert designs and delivers non-credit educational content focused on professional development, personal enrichment, or skill-building. Responsibilities may include:

• Designing, developing, and building course content as assigned
• Facilitating synchronous (live online) or asynchronous (self-paced or fixed date) sessions
• Preparing instructional materials
• Providing timely student support and feedback to ensure learning outcomes are met
• Maintaining course records
• Completing all required training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, communication, community outreach, business administration or related discipline or equivalent in work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in course topic
• Must hold the certification being taught, if applicable

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field (desired)
