[Hiring] Part-Time Lecturer - Theatre Arts and the African American Theatre Program @University of Louisville

Role Description

The Department of Theatre Arts invites applications for Part-Time Lecturers to teach online or face-to-face undergraduate/graduate courses for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027 semesters. We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability to teach courses in:

• African diaspora
• Technical theatre/management courses
• Playwriting/new play development courses
• Acting courses
• General education courses

The successful candidate should have a terminal academic degree (M.F.A.) in a theatre-related field or equivalent professional experience. Teaching experience at the collegiate level and familiarity with online teaching are encouraged.
