Role Description

This is a remote position.

The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) operates as an independent academic contributor, supporting Australia-based undergraduate students enrolled in Master’s programs offered by a leading Australian University based in Melbourne. This role is designed for experienced professionals seeking a flexible, remote engagement that enables them to:

The LINC Fellow is responsible for providing structured academic support, personalised guidance, and high-quality feedback to students.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Qualification or Master’s in Cybersecurity/ICT-related field with distinction or first class from a top university.
• 3+ years of teaching experience in related courses.
• 2+ years of professional experience in corporate in the field of Information systems.
• Familiarity with current academic and business communication practices, referencing styles, AI usage, and academic integrity policies.
• Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures.
• Proficient in English language; excellent oral and written communication.
• Must possess a working laptop and have access to high-speed (>10 MBPS) stable internet connection.
• Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students including host university’s LMS and LINC trac (training on these platforms will be provided).

Requirements

• Personal laptop
• High-speed internet connection (>10 Mbps)
• Availability 7 days a week, during which they may put in 2-3 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
