Role Description
Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is looking for experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors to teach year-round classes as Primary Scheduled Instructors and Secondary Instructors ready to step in as needed for teaching assistant and substitutes. Our schools and classes run year-round.
Pharmacy Technician Instructors help take care of students through their lifecycle with Ross!

Working with students on achieving a certificate/diploma

Use Ross curriculum, supplemented with your own work/life experiences and medical knowledge

Regular communication and interaction with students through comments and discussions
-
Active and supportive online environment for students, requiring sufficient weekly communication time

Training and "ramp up" hours are provided
Qualifications

Prior teaching experience teaching online using a contemporary LMS or as an online student using Canvas or D2L/Brightspace preferred

3+ yearsโ recent experience in the field as a Pharmacy Technician and formal training from an accredited institution

Must hold or be able to obtain a national certification as Pharmacy Technician, and a license within your state, as required

Individuals without a formal education must have a minimum of 5+ yearsโ recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician and a current national certification

Strongly Preferred: Ross Graduate or former Ross Instructor

Ability to use current technology to maintain student records

Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings

Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames

Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress, and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor

Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics

Perform related work as required
