Role Description

Do you speak Italian and enjoy teaching? Share your language skills with children and teenagers during the upcoming school year. Do you have experience preparing students for official language exams and want to help them achieve their language certification?

At Nachhilfeunterricht, we are looking for language teachers and tutors to provide personalised preparation for certifications such as FCE, DELE, SIELE and other official language exams.

• Provide lessons focused on official language exam preparation.
• Prepare students for exams such as FCE, DELE, SIELE and other language certifications.
• Practise the different exam components, including reading, listening, writing, speaking, grammar and vocabulary.
• Work with practice exercises and official-style exam materials.
• Identify each student's main difficulties and focus on the areas that need improvement.
• Teach exam strategies and techniques to help students approach their exams with greater confidence.
• Adapt lessons to each student's level and exam date.
• Teach extracurricular Italian classes to primary and secondary school students.
• Prepare engaging lessons adapted to students' age and language level.
• Work on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and speaking skills.
• Design practical and interactive activities to make learning Italian enjoyable.
• Encourage conversation and help students build confidence using the language.
• Adapt lessons to each student's learning pace and individual needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced or native-level knowledge of the language being taught.
• Good command of Italian, either as a native or second language.
• A background in Languages, Linguistics, Translation, Education or related fields is valued.
• Interest in working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and practically.
• Ability to explain language concepts clearly and engagingly.
• University students are also welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the structure and requirements of official language examinations.
• Experience preparing students for FCE, DELE, SIELE or equivalent certifications is valued.
• A background in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, Education or related fields is valued.
• Previous private teaching experience is not required.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
