[Hiring] Music Administrator @GDST

Role Description

South Hampstead High School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Music Administrator with excellent people skills to support the Directors of Music in the Senior and Junior Schools.

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of both music departments.
• Support a busy programme of concerts, rehearsals, examinations, and trips.
• Organise concerts and coordinate ABRSM and Trinity music examinations.
• Manage instrumental lesson allocations.
• Communicate with parents and liaise with visiting music teachers.
• Provide wider administrative support to help both departments run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in event or examination administration, or working in a school or similarly busy environment (advantageous).

• Reliable administrator.
• Confident in dealing professionally with parents and colleagues.
• Able to manage competing priorities and remain calm during busy periods.
• Initiative to work independently while building positive working relationships across two school sites.
