Role Description

ELT is seeking a qualified and experienced English language teacher for a live online program designed for a teenager.

• Program Details:
• Live Online English (A1-A2)
• 120 hours available
• 60-minute lessons, 4x/week
• Available Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 18:00 PM to 21:00 PM (Tokyo Standard Time)
• Participant is a native Japanese speaker relocating to the Chicago area.
• The participant is a 15 y/o boy who needs to be able to speak with/make friends and attend class in English.
• Their goals are to build a positive and enjoyable impression of English and gradually improve overall proficiency.
• Will relocate to US around mid-end of July.
• Parents want the lessons to be fun and encourage the student to speak.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Native or native-like proficiency in English
• Proven experience teaching language live online to non-native speakers
• Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical methods
