Role Description

The Leadership Coach provides structured, results‑oriented coaching to federal leaders participating in leadership development initiatives. This is a formal coaching role, not mentoring. Participants are expected to act on guidance and complete development actions aligned with OPM ECQs. Roles may require surge‑period availability during high‑volume tasking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one coaching engagements lasting up to six months.
• Use Stafford’s coaching dashboard to track sessions, metrics, and assessments.
• Provide unlimited asynchronous support through approved communication tools.
• Administer coaching agreements outlining confidentiality and expectations.
• Conduct intake, goal‑setting, and development planning sessions.
• Administer assessments (360, MBTI, DiSC) with COR approval.
• Submit monthly coaching status reports and end‑of‑engagement evaluations.
• Maintain non‑personal services boundaries at all times.

Qualifications

• Professional coaching certification (ICF, EMCC, or equivalent).
• Experience coaching federal leaders (GS‑13 to SES).
• Strong documentation, reporting, and virtual delivery skills.
• Familiarity with OPM ECQs preferred.

• ACC – Associate Certified Coach
• PCC – Professional Certified Coach
• MCC – Master Certified Coach
• CAM – Certified Associate Mentor
• CMM – Certified Master Mentor
