[Hiring] Law Lecturer @Chartered Institute of Legal Executives

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic legal professional to join our team as a Law Lecturer in Criminal Law, Procedure and Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with practice experience in criminal law who is passionate about supporting the next generation of legal professionals. Previous teaching experience is not essential. We welcome applications from practitioners looking to take the next step in their career and bring their expertise into legal education.

Qualifications

• Professional Legal Qualification: CILEX Legal Executive, Solicitor or Barrister or Licensed Conveyancer
• Legal Practice experience
• Desirable: Masters Degree or LLM
• PGCert/FHEA/SHEA/PHEA
• Teaching qualification or HEA recognition
• Experience of teaching, training or developing others in criminal law

• Ability to work with initiative and the confidence to act decisively within agreed limits
• A willingness to work flexibly when required
• Ability to work at some weekends and travel as required
