Role Description

Are you ready to go off script? Venture is an online program that caters to the evolving needs of the 21st century student.

As a Venture Online Teacher of Record (TOR), you will be responsible for:

• Supervising students in Kindergarten.
• Collaborating with parents on goal setting, curriculum and lesson planning.
• Reviewing student learning and reporting attendance.
• Creating portfolios and providing assessments.
• Monitoring student budgets and placing appropriate POs.
• Creating report cards, assigning grades and units, and creating course descriptions.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Preliminary or Clear (preferred) Multiple Subject teaching credential.
• Valid CLAD certification.
• Experience teaching English Language Arts is strongly preferred.
• Prior online teaching experience preferred.
• All candidates must reside within service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, or Los Angeles Counties.
