[Hiring] International Business - Part-Time Professor @University of Ottawa

Role Description

Focus on the changing international business environment, from a strategic, competitive and economic perspective. With a regional and a global approach, trade patterns, the role of international institutions, trading blocks, and emerging market trends are analyzed. Questions related to ethics, environmental issues and corporate responsibility are also considered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or an MBA (PhD preferred) in the area of international business.
• Recent professional experience in the area of the course.
• Teaching experience, preferably in the area of international business.

Requirements

• Teaching method will be delivered online (synchronous live).
• Teaching method might incur changes due to health measures or other reasons.

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: Enseignement / Teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025).
• Work Hours: 39.
• Number of credits: 3.
• Expected Enrolment: 89.
• Academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
• Rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.
• Rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.
