Role Description

Traction is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in equipping the next generation of digital marketers with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly evolving world of online marketing.

• Develop and enhance comprehensive, up-to-date curricula for digital marketing courses, incorporating the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Conduct engaging and practical classes, workshops, and marketing projects to effectively teach various aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, analytics, and more.
• Facilitate marketing campaigns and projects that mirror real-world scenarios, allowing students to apply their knowledge and develop hands-on skills.
• Teach students how to analyze marketing data, measure campaign performance, and interpret insights to optimize marketing strategies.
• Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and changes in search engine algorithms to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to actively participate and share their ideas and experiences.
• Organize guest speaker sessions and workshops with industry experts to expose students to diverse perspectives and the latest industry practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students through regular office hours, email, and other communication channels, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals.
• Offer advice and support to students on building successful careers in digital marketing, including networking, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
• Collaborate with other instructors and the curriculum development team to continuously enhance the learning experience and ensure the program's effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record of successful marketing campaigns and projects.
• Deep understanding of various digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, including SEO, Google Ads, social media platforms, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, etc.
• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or instructional design is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex marketing concepts for students.
• Passion for education, digital marketing, and a genuine desire to help others succeed in their marketing careers.
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
