[Hiring] Instructional Designer-EPIC @Southcoast Health System

Role Description

Join Southcoast Health as an Instructional Designer-EPIC, where you will be at the heart of our commitment to community-focused, care-driven healthcare.

• Under the direction of the Epic Manager or designee, carry out various duties in support of business systems and end users including but not limited to:
• Perform analysis of workflow
• Assessment of system needs and requirements
• Plan, design, and test systems and interfaces
• Coordinate work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel
• Train end-users as needed
• Document and troubleshoot work involved in systems implementation and maintenance
• Act as liaison to all end users
• On-call rotation required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
• Must obtain Epic certification.
• Experience supporting Meditech and/or other healthcare information systems required.
• Technical/programming experience preferred.
• PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.
• Five (5) years MIS and/or business related experience, including two (2) years in similar and related position required.
• Must obtain Epic Cadence certification within 1 year.
• CPHMIS Certification is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Compensation

• Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
• Pay Range: USD $76,897.60 - USD $129,604.80 /Yr.
