Role Description
This role supports the scaling of IDCβs Learning Engineering and Solutions team during a critical period of enterprise transformation. The contractor will contribute to the development, maintenance, and scaling of enablement content, while also supporting operational improvements tied to the Unified Learning Experience initiative. This role is essential to stabilizing throughput, reducing training debt, improving content governance, and ensuring that learning assets and data are well-organized, properly documented, and prepared for ongoing transformation efforts across the enterprise.
What Youβll Do

Execute assigned production tasks to support the creation and update of enablement content, following established templates and standards.

Perform content cleanup and maintenance activities, including identifying and addressing outdated, duplicate, or redundant training materials.

Support organization and structuring of learning assets across repositories, ensuring consistent naming conventions, version control, and file management practices.

Assist in maintaining content inventories and tracking systems to improve visibility, reporting, and control of learning assets.

Prepare content and associated documentation (e.g., metadata, file structures, versioning details) to support internal transformation and platform readiness efforts (non-administrative).

Support backlog reduction by completing ticketed updates, revisions, and rebuilds within defined intake and workflow processes.

Contribute to improving overall content hygiene and governance aligned with the Unified Learning Experience (ULE) initiative.

Assist with formatting, packaging, and preparing training materials for publishing workflows, without performing platform administration.

Support reporting and documentation efforts related to content status, production tracking, and repository organization.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelorβs degree in any field (college graduate required). Instructional Design certification is a plus but not required.

Experience: 1β3 years of relevant experience in instructional design or training content development.

Skills:

Familiarity with video editing tools such as Camtasia and VideoScribe.

Familiarity with SCORM authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise.

Working knowledge of AI tools used for training and content development, including tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia, and ElevenLabs.
