Role Description
Currently, RG is looking to hire an Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer is an exempt customer-facing business professional that will identify the performance, skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and create, select and/or suggest learning experiences to fill this gap.

Designs and executes knowledge transfer initiatives for the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC), including the creation, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive documentation.

Designs and develops online course content tailored to meet organizational objectives and learner requirements, ensuring accessibility and engagement.

Creates engaging and effective learning materials, such as presentations, instructional videos, and interactive exercises, to enhance the learning experience.

Collaborates with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure all learning resources are accurate, high-quality, and aligned with current needs and standards.

Assesses the effectiveness of learning and training materials by collecting feedback and analyzing data, making continuous improvements to optimize learning outcomes.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field

4+ years of teaching, training, or web designing experience

Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation

Familiarity with design and learning programs (Adobe, Photoshop, Flash, etc.)

Excellent communication and graphic design skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development

Ability to operate effectively in remote/hybrid team environments
