[Hiring] Facilitator, Programs @The AI Education Project

Role Description

We are looking for 1-2 part time (up to 20 hrs/week) Facilitator, Programs at The AI Education Project (aiEDU) in the Mid-West and West Coast with potential support for other regions as needed. You will work closely with our Sr. Leads to advance AI literacy for students by developing and supporting partnerships with school districts and education agencies across multiple states. Your primary focus will be on fostering robust relationships with partners ensuring the effective delivery of our services.

You will be the key liaison between aiEDU and our partner school districts. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with internal teams and leadership.
• Tailoring our offerings to meet the specific requirements of each district.

As a member of the small aiEDU team, your leadership will be critical to the growth and success of the organization. This role reports to the regional Director, National Programs with project-specific management by relevant regional Sr. Leads.

Qualifications

• Significant years of experience in education and/or education technology.
• Experience working at a school district or education agency.
• Strength in relationship building with educators at all levels.
• Working knowledge and experience with AI and AI Readiness in school districts and/or state level entities.
• Ability to facilitate adult learning in impactful and meaningful ways.
• Strong time and project management skills with the ability to turn projects into deliverables efficiently.
• Ability to present information in a clear, engaging, and compelling manner.
• Strong collaborative skills, especially the ability to work effectively with a team of peers and across departments.
• Orientation towards innovation and experimentation, especially in the realm of AI.
• Knowledge of the opportunities and challenges AI poses for schools, AI Literacy and/or Digital Literacy.

Requirements

• Part-time, non-exempt hourly role.
• Fully remote; some travel within the United States may be required; travel expenses will be reimbursed.
• Compensation: $75 per hour, up to 20 hours per week depending on projects assigned.
• Contract length: September 2026 - June 30, 2027 with potential for extension.
