[Hiring] ESL Tutor for Adult Business English @Edge Tutor

Role Description

If you're a BPO trainer, corporate communicator, VA, or teacher with a bachelor's degree, proper teaching equipment, and excellent communication skills, you can be a Business English Tutor in as fast as 5 days!

• Type: Part-Time
• Rate: Php 180–220 per hour
• Schedule: 5:00 AM – 4:00 AM (Philippine Time)
• Minimum 25 hours/week teaching required
• 2 rest days per week, one teaching weekend preferred
• Students: Adults
• Class Type: 1-on-1 and Small Group Sessions
• Region: Global

Bonus Stack This Month:

• ₱3,000 Switcher Bonus for tutors with 2 or more recent years of experience on another platform
• ₱5,000 Sign Up Bonus when you launch as an Adult Business Tutor this month
• ₱500 for completing the TEFL certification within 5 hours

Classes run during global business hours. Peak times include:

• 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM

Tutors must be available for at least 25 hours per week. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong spoken English proficiency at C2 level, EFSET
• University graduate (any 4-year course)
• Bachelor's diploma and Transcript of Records (TOR)
• Philippine bank account (for payroll purposes)
• TEFL or TESOL certification, 120 hours or more, required for the switcher bonus
• Professional teaching setup that meets our minimum tech standards
• Bonus: Experience in Business English instruction is highly valued

Requirements

• Former school teachers transitioning to online instruction
• Corporate trainers, BPO professionals, or client-facing roles with excellent English
• Experienced tutors from other ESL platforms seeking premium adult learners
